Ashton interviewed his mother on the childbirth of her 13 children. Included are a child by child narration of the unique aspects to the delivery, and the special differences that each baby added to the family. Shean discusses the experiences of the sons of Mosiah, accounts recorded from ancient America in the Book of Mormon, with relation to missionary work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Shean analyzes such elements of missionary work as prayer, fasting, the Spirit of Prophecy and Revelation, and teaching with power and authority from God. Created by Jay Shean while enrolled in Jacqueline Thursby's English 356 class during fall semester of 2002.
The spatially displaced ghost : fragrance folklore / Andy Schultz, 2005
Schultz interviews employees at department store fragrance counters and collects the folkloric beliefs that surround smelling good. He believes that most folklore is created when a person has an experience with the unknown, and that fragrance folklore arises because it facilitates romance between one sex and the unknown world of the opposite sex.
