 Item — Box: 312, Folder: 1
Identifier: FA 1 Item 3445

Scope and Contents note

Solomon examines the various beliefs, superstitions, and fears surrounding thunderstorms that have persisted throughout the years in numerous cultures around the world. From thunderstones, to the spreading salt around one's home, to the telling of stories about angry Gods throwing lightening bolts at the wicked, Solomon compares and contrasts these traditions, not only with one another, but with their common equivalents found across the globe today. Created by Amanda Bingham Solomon while enrolled in Jacqueline Thursby's English 356 course during fall semester of 2005.
