The spatially displaced ghost : fragrance folklore / Andy Schultz, 2005

 Item — Box: 269, Folder: 1
Identifier: FA 1 Item 2991

Scope and Contents note

Schultz interviews employees at department store fragrance counters and collects the folkloric beliefs that surround smelling good. He believes that most folklore is created when a person has an experience with the unknown, and that fragrance folklore arises because it facilitates romance between one sex and the unknown world of the opposite sex. Created by Andy Schultz when she was enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 course in Winter 2005.
