Handwritten and signed letter, dated 29 April 1879, and addressed to the minister of the interior for Austria, Count Jeappe. Franz Joseph expresses gratitude for a national observance in honor of the Emperor and Empress of Austria. Also included is a handwritten English translation of the item.

Peter M. Kamps correspondence and photograph
Collection includes 4 letters of correspondence regarding copyright privileges for paintings created by Arizona artist Peter Kamps. One of the letters bears the signature of LDS Church President Heber J. Grant. Also included in the collection is a photograph of Peter Kamps doing a scenery painting at the Grand Canyon.
Letters to Kanakuk
ALS (1832) from William Marshall, Indian Agency, Indiana, giving Kan-e-kuck and his party permission to hunt on U.S. land without threat of repression as long as the Indians remained friendly. Also includes two ALS's (1832, 1833) from William Clark, the first advising the Indians to leave the country; the second encouraging them to move to the reservation.
