Handwritten and signed statement and dated 26 Oct. 1843. "Know all men by these presents that we Hyrum Smith, Charles Shumway, and Sidney Rigdon." They were appointed "conservator of the estate of Joel Bullard, judged insane."

Scope and Contents Typewritten statement dated April 13, 1945. Ririe writes that he was on a train in Canada with the Mormon apostle, John A. Widtsoe, in 1945. Widtsoe told Ririe that he was present when John Wickersham Woolley, a temple worker for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, admitted that he had not been given authority to perform polygamous marriages after that practice was discontinued by the Church. Also included is a typewritten letter from Widtsoe to Ririe dated November 19, 1945...

Collection contains the mission diaries of John and Mahonri M. Steele. Included in the diaries of John are day to day descriptions of his time serving as a Mormon missionary, and serving in the Mormon Battalion. He also gives some family history and autobiographical information about his life prior to the journal. The journals written by Mahonri M. Steele tell about his time as a Mormon missionary to England and Scotland.

William Wilson Sterrett journal

Handwritten journal accompanied by its photocopy, along with Simeon R. Sterrett's typewritten missionary blessing and its photocopy. The journal describes W. W. Sterrett's mission, how an Indian chief, Black Pine, saved his life, and also contains his family's genealogy, a record of temple ordinances, and copies of patriarchal blessings.
