Biographical History

Don Evan Norton (1902-1983) was a farmer and electrician in Montana and Idaho. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Abstract

This is the personal history of Wanda Whatcott Johnson which was created from an oral history interview conducted by Don Norton in 1980. Later, the family created this 188 page manuscript and a copy was given to Norton in 1987. Norton states in his letter that this history’s value is in that it shows Johnson, who was mostly deaf, learning to read lips and impressing hearing specialists.
