Burnett, Attorney, Staunton, Virginia in behalf of survivors of deceased Confederate soldiers with brief statements of service and death dates of the deceased. Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter dated 17 July 1845 and addressed to "Gen. Ewing." Deming admits that the hope of expelling the Mormons from Hancock County had been abandoned and indicates that he had been accused of the murder of the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith.

Reginald Dobbs interview

Scope and Contents Transcript of an interview conducted by Mike West on 27 Oct. 1985 for the Ray Hillam war project. Dobbs arrived in Vietnam in 1971 and served as an assistant executive officer for an artillery battery. Later, he was assigned as artillery liaison officer for 2nd Battalion First Marines, which was the last Marine infantry unit active in Vietnam. He talked about freezing up the first time he was in combat, and he told about his other experiences in war. He said he was frustrated at times...

Idonna Davis Doerig autobiography

The oral history discusses Fenton Lyn Drake's pre-Vietnam experience including: his mission, the draft, and deferments. He then tells about his combat experience in the war and his opportunity to sare the gospel with fellow soldiers, and his post war experiences. Dated October 2, 2012.

Transcript of an interview conducted by Jay Drake on 26 July 1985 for the Ray Hillam war project. Kelly Drake was drafted into the United States Army in 1954 (?). He went to Ft. Ord, California, for training, and he was sent to Germany where he was assigned to be a jeep driver. He trained soldiers and played war games. He thought that the United States' participation in the the Korean War was justified.
