Elizabeth Tate diary
Photocopies of diaries. Mrs. Tate lived in Tooele, Utah, served locally in the Mormon Relief Society, was active in Tooele social life, attended many funerals, and helped tend her many grandchildren.
John W. Tate papers
Typescript of a diary, photocopies and typescripts of letters received, and biographical information. The diary relates to Tate's work in colonizing Arizona from 1880 to 1881. The letters were received by Tate from 1887 to 1888 while serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southern States. The biographical data lists the church, city, and county positions held by Tate from 1871 to 1914.
Alma O. Taylor diaries
Handwritten diaries and two folders of correspondence and newspaper clippings. Taylor was called to serve on a mission to Japan for the Mormon Church in 1901. He presided over the Japan Mission from 1905 to 1910. A few diary entries were made between 1911 and 1946. Also included are correspondence relating to the mission and newspaper clippings about the work of translating the Book of Mormon into Japanese.

Photocopies of typed newsletters. The items were produced for the Joseph Taylor Family Organization. The materials contain a biography of Joseph Taylor, patriarchal blessings from the Mormon Church, and genealogies of the Taylor family.
Taylor family photographs
This collection contains nine lantern slides taken by Fredrick Whitaker Taylor (or son) on a trip from Utah to San Francisco, California, in 1915 by the F.W. Taylor and the R.R. Irvine families to the Panama Pacific International Exposition. Also included are fifteen glass plate negatives and prints of family members including Leonora Taylor, and a CD with pictures of the Taylor family.
George Thomas Taylor collection of photographs of Utah mines and mining communities
Materials include 19 photographs taken between approximately 1880 and 1933. There are photographs of Utah gilsonite mines and of the communities surrounding them, including houses and individuals.

Jabez Taylor journal
Collection contains an original journal kept by Jabez Taylor from 1879 until 1915. Also included in the collection are two typescripts of the original journal, a pedigree for Jabez Taylor, and three family group records for his three respective wives.

Handwritten letter addressed to Judge Elias Smith dated 14 March 1874 and signed by John Taylor. Taylor informs Smith of money owed him (Taylor) and others by the Caroline H. Debrowske estate.

Photocopies of handwritten letters addressed to family members. The items tell about the planned marriage between Taylor's daughter, Ida, and John Whitaker. John Taylor gives some advice to his daughter on the forthcoming marriage. One letter is addressed to John Whitaker and expresses Taylor's opinion about him.
