Scope and Contents

Contains five volumes of photocopied pages from the mission diaries of John Austin Abbott. Abbott served in the New Zealand Mission, and these diaries detail his daily occasions. He talks about his time with the Mormon Church, their lives, the weather, and baptism numbers. Dated 1899-1901.

Arza Adams autobiographies and diaries

Scope and Contents

Photocopies of microfilm copies of handwritten diaries. Adams joined the Mormon Church in 1836 and served as missionary for that faith in Canada. He moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, and worked on the Nauvoo Temple. He came to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1849.

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a handwritten diary. Adams lived in Oakley, Idaho, and writes about his daily routine. He was concerned about his health, the weather, and farm work. He also tells about various meetings for the Mormon Church.

Thomas Adams papers

Scope and Contents

Holographs and printed material. Contains a journal of Adams' mission to Great Britain, 1895-1897, including newspaper clippings about Mormonism in Ireland, and records of his correspondence and missionary work. Also included are a letter changing his mission call to Great Britain, 1895, genealogical data, and family histories of his father's family, William Adams.

William Ajax journals

Scope and Contents Contains holographs, photographs, and typescripts of journals, dated July 20 to December 27, 1861, and January 1, 1862 to December 31, 1863. The journals describe Ajax's activities as a missionary for the Mormon Church in England and Wales and include some newspaper clippings, part of which are from the Udgorn Seion, the Mormon publication in Wales. Andrew Jackson Allen autobiography and diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript of an autobiography and diary. Allen writes about his youth in Kentucky and move to Missouri after he joined the Mormon Church. He later moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, and joined the Mormon exodus to Utah in 1847. He tells about the hardships of early settlement in Salt Lake City, Utah. His diary starts in 1857. Duwayne Leroy Anderson missionary papers

Scope and Contents

Materials contain papers dated from 1922 to 1925, which include a mission journal and accompanying transcription, missionary meeting notes, "Swiss and German Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" LDS Church directory, and photograph and postcard albums. All these things were created in conjunction with Anderson's missionary service in Germany from 1922 to 1925.

William Frank Atkin papers
