Clarence Marcellus Barker papers
Scope and Contents
Includes journals, notebooks, an autograph album, letters, and articles relating to his mission in Australia. Five journals document his missionary activities in Sidney, Tasmania, Adelaide, and Perth, including encounters with RLDS missionaries. Notebooks contain a statistical record of his missionary activities, and missionary references, including notes on polygamy and on the RLDS Church. Autograph album contains messages from missionaries, Church members, and other friends in Australia. Letters are from Barker to his father, N. H. Barker, in North Ogden, Utah. Articles, dated 1987 and circa 1931, deal with the history of the LDS Church in Australia.
