William Waddoups biography and meeting record book

Scope and Contents

Materials include a thirty-two page booklet containing a typed biography of William Waddoups, a biography of his wife Elizabeth, and speeches, prayers and songs from William Waddoups’ funeral. Also includes a red hardback meeting record book used when Waddoups made visits to several wards near Lewiston, Utah, likely while serving as a counselor in the Benson Stake Presidency. Dated 1909-1931.

Transcriptions of both items are also included.

Entries relate farming conditions and crop yields in the Kanab Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, travels along Pariah River, and an account of a conference conducted by Brigham Young on April 2, 1870, dedicating a settlement in Kanab.
