Collection contains two boxes of photocopied personal histories, journals, letters, and an original manuscript entitled, "La Premiere Moitre du XIX." These items are dated from between 1825 and 1975.

Administrative History
The Genealogical Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints formed in a reorganization of the Church's Genealogical Society in 1974. It was first established as the Genealogical Society of Utah in 1894. The Genealogical Department maintained the Genealogical Library, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Genealogical Department was renamed the Family History Department in 1987, and the Genealogical Library became known as the Family History Library.
