Sanders collected lyrics to songs that his family sang while he was growing up. Included are lyrics to songs about the seasons, holiday songs, religious songs, and silly songs. Project was created for Dr. Eliason's English 391 course taught at Brigham Young University in 2000.

The new song / Grant Olsen, 2005 March 30
Olsen examines the words that children think they hear, or just create, in their favorite songs. Through these newly created lyrics, Olsen delves into the creativity of children as an excellent reflection of their culture. The commonality of confusing lyrics to a favorite song, not just by children but also through adulthood, is also discussed. Created by Grant Olsen while enrolled in Jill Rudy's English 392 course during winter semester of 2005.

Thomas David Rees collected personal narratives of Newfoundland songs and folklore. Included are folk sayings and predictions about weather, folk medicine, and songs traditionally sung by those living in Newfoundland.
