The lore of lady's shoes salespeople / Paul Michael Mugerian, 1991
Paul Michael Mugerian collected personal narratives of lore surrounding people who sell women's shoes. Included are stories of initiation tricks and pranks, customer personifications, stories of sexual harassment, and stories of feet that were difficult to find shoes for. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1991.
The lore of pregnancy / Debbie Faires, 1977
After becoming pregnant Faires became curious about and active in collected pregnancy lore. Included are physical changes in the pregnant woman, relations of mother's activities to the baby's physical health, how the mother's activities effect the baby's emotions, ways to determine the gender of the baby, and lore surrounding labor. Project was created for an English 392 course taught at Brigham Young University in 1977.

The lore of the Henrikson sisters : growing up on a Oregon farm, 1991
Christopher E. Garrett collected stories of life on an Oregon farm as narrated by the three Henrikson sisters: Rose Ann, Valeda, and Heidi. Included are stories of pets and horses on the farm, entertainment and holidies, working on the farm, and a massive storm that hit the farm one Columbus day. Project was written an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1991.

Larsen discusses her family ranch, Thousand Peaks Ranch in the way in which oral traditions have tied her family to the land. Included are narratives following the last 100 years at the ranch from different family members. Project was created for Dr. Eliason's English 667 course taught at Brigham Young University.

Rockwood interviewed friends about memorable birthdays as well as traditions that were done within their families. The lost gold mine of Thomas Rhoades / Mark Croshaw, 2008
This project is a collection of stories and legends about a Spanish gold mine said to be found in the Uinta mountains in Utah. The analysis comments on how the Thomas Rhoades legend has grown out of Mormon experience and culture, as well as a combination of important historical figures and Mormon history. Items collected are based on interviews with two informants and three internet and newspaper articles. Collected by Mark Crowhaw, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Fall 2008.
