Photocopies and transcript of journal by Leonard describing his work leading a handcart company of Mormon immigrants to Utah. Includes a description of his work organizing the immigrants and his travels to Salt Lake City, Utah. The journal also contains entries describing his interactions with non-Mormon travelers. Describes his arrival in September, as well as the arrival of the Martin Handcart Company in December. Journal entries date from between June 11, 1856 and July 1, 1857.
