Handwritten and signed letter dated 28 May 1893. The item is addressed to John M. Cannon of Salt Lake City, Utah. Kimball rejoices in being among a "God fearing people" in Canada. He writes about his journey to Raymond and about a storm he encountered on the way. He thanks Cannon for having brought him to that place.

Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter dated Nov. 9, 1806 and written in Louisville. It is addressed to Henry Dearborn (1751-1829), Secretary of War for the United States. Lewis states that four hundred dollars is due Capt. William Clark (1770-1838) for his services on the expedition to the Pacific Ocean. This payment would be "charged" to Lewis and would be his final "settlement" with the United States relative to the expedition.

Contains Lois W. McIntyre's travel journal and hotel stationary notes documenting her vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii; Wake Island; Manila; Singapore; Bangkok; Hong Kong; and Tokyo. In her journal, she summarizes daily travel itineraries and comments more particularly on flora, dress, and cuisine of each destination she visits. McIntyre makes reference to the construction of the "Mormon University" in Hawaii. Dated 1958 July-August.
