Includes Robert Lindsay’s personal journals. Journals document his work life, his family life, his activity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his involvement in the Midvale, Utah community. Found in each journal were ephemeral materials, poetry; religious and political talks, eulogies, and speeches; business and meeting agendas; advertisements; and financial calculations. 1890-1948.

Handwritten copies of signed letters made in a copy-press book. The items are addressed to various persons in many areas of the United States. The items deal mainly with various business matters including the prospects of successful mining ventures in Utah.

Photocopies of typed and signed promissory notes dated October 1895 and March 1898. The notes are directed to the Commercial National Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah, and to Zion's Savings Bank and Trust Company. The items were signed by prominent Mormon Church officials including apostles and presidents of that religion.

Also included are records of several associations of water users in Utah.

Account books, correspondence, newspaper clippings, a reminiscence of Walker's participation in the Walker War against the Ute Indians in 1853, certificates, legislative acts passed by the Utah Legislature, and minutes of meetings. The materials deal largely with the Walker banking, mining, and business interests in Utah. The correspondence are to and from family members and deal largely with family and business matters.
