Scope and Contents Typewritten biography of Stephen Bliss Moore and his wife, Eleanor Colton Moore. Stephen and Eleanor were Mormon pioneers who married in 1857. They lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, near the "Indian Farm" by Spanish Fork, Utah, at the Tintic Mining district near Eureka, Utah, and near Provo, Utah. They had encounters with Ute Indians. John Needham diary and autobiography

Typewritten copy of a diary from 1840-1842. Needham writes about his conversion, missionary activies in England and Wales, faith promoting experiences, persecutions, and also gives details of the organization of branches in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including names and dates of baptisms and ordinations of the members. Also included is a five-page typescript of an autobiography written late in the nineteenth century when Needham lived in Logan, Utah.

The account is largely retrospective even though much of it is written like diary entries. Also included is a diary to Nelson dated 5 Aug. 1935. Nelson writes about his birth in California in 1855, his journey to Utah in 1857. He also settled in Franklin, Idaho, in 1859 and moved to Logan, Utah, in 1864. He later moved to Glendale, Utah.
