Scope and Contents This series contains photographs that were collected by or given to Granville Stuart for his research on Montana history, circa 1788-1910. Most of the photographs are of landscapes in Yellowstone and Montana, along with portraits of Native Americans and others, including Ulysses S. Grant. Also included are photographs of sketches done by Stuart. The photographers include W. H. Culver, Thomas H. Rutter, Edgar H. Train, and L. A. Hoffman. Bertrand Fereday Harrison lantern slides and negatives

Scope and Contents

The glass lantern slides were taken by Bertrand F. Harrison in the 1930s and 1940s, and contain pictures of plants and other biological specimens related to Utah. The negatives collection includes twenty-five small, round metal containers of 35mm film, and one cassette tape. Labels on film canisters include references to Zion's Park, St. George, natural bridges, Chicago, Aspen Grove, Midway, Yellowstone Park, the Uintah Mountains, and various other Utah locations.

Scope and Contents

This collection is a scrapbook compiled under the direction of F.V. Hayden and containing 258 albumen silver prints taken by William Henry Jackson of landmarks in and around what is known now as Yellowstone National Park. There are handwritten notes, in Russian, made by A.P. Pavlov at a later date. Materials are dated 1869-1875.
