This project is a collection and history of the experiences of Dale Freeze Jr., the collector's grandfather. The analysis gives a biography of Dale Freeze Jr. commenting on his birth, childhood, marriage, World War II experience, and family life. Project includes 4 pages of scanned photos of Dale Freeze's life. Also includes a printed biography written by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Bush Freeze. This project is a history of the collector's grandmother, Carol Maree James Bowen. The analysis discusses some key aspects of Carol's life including her childhood in the Great Depression, farm life, her family and church service, and relates it all to the American dream and typical American values. This project is a collection of stories and legends about a Spanish gold mine said to be found in the Uinta mountains in Utah. The analysis comments on how the Thomas Rhoades legend has grown out of Mormon experience and culture, as well as a combination of important historical figures and Mormon history.
