This project is a history of the collector's grandmother, Carol Maree James Bowen. The analysis discusses some key aspects of Carol's life including her childhood in the Great Depression, farm life, her family and church service, and relates it all to the American dream and typical American values. All items collected are based on an interview with the informant, Carol Maree James Bowen, as conducted by the collector. Collected by Josh Allen, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Fall 2008.
