Administrative History
The University of Utah (1892- ) is a public university in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The University was established in 1850 by Brigham Young as the University of Deseret. The building which housed the University changed over time and the title became the University of Utah in 1892. The University offers more than one hundred undergraduate majors and more than ninety graduate degree programs. It is Utah’s oldest institution of higher education. The University moved to its current location in 1900.

Urvin Gee autobiography

Gee writes about growing up in Moroni, Utah; attending the University of Utah; teaching school in Moroni from 1901 to 1938; serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Britain; performing temple work for the Church in Arizona in 1946 and 1947; and complains of poor eyesight late in his life.

This collection contains two items: her autobiography and funeral services tapes and transcription. The autobiography is photocopies of a typewritten autobiography with handwritten corrections in which Cutler writes about her early life, her education, her teaching career, her travels, and her other activities. The funeral tapes are two cassette tapes with a transcript copy.

Typed autobiography. Harris was born in Wellsville, Utah, in 1927 and started her training in the Cadet Corps in August of 1945. She studied nursing at the University of Utah.
