Thomas Jackson Schofield writes about his conversion in England and about his farming life in Nephi, Utah from 1859 to 1860.

The topics discussed related to Mormon and to Provo topics. An emphasis was placed on getting workers to go to St. George, Utah to help construct the Mormon temple there.

Joanna Southcott sealing document
Handwritten certificate signed by Joseph Allman and Joanna Southcott. The item was also "sealed" with a red wax seal which meant that the holder would be among the 144,000 mentioned in the Book of Revelations who had a special calling at the return of Jesus Christ. The document states: "The sealed of the Lord the elect precious man's redemption to inherit the Tree of Life to be made heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ."
