Oral history interviews with Grant L. and Josephine Harris Bayles on 7 and 11 July 1971. The interviews were conducted by Mary Risher and Louise Lyne for the Utah State Historical Society and California State University, Fullerton Oral History Program.

Mary Ann's diary covers the time period during which she accompanied William on his mission to the Sandwich Islands for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. William King's diary discusses his ranching, camping, and traveling activities.
