Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Grace Mary Wrigley was born in England in 1842 and died in American Fork, Utah, in 1930. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, migrated to Utah in 1852, married George Cunningham in 1863, lived in American Fork, Utah, and had 13 children. James Cunningham was born in England in 1840 and migrated to Utah with the Willie handcart company in 1856. At one point, he helped bury 15 people in one grave...

Joseph Curtis diaries

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of handwritten diaries. Curtis also writes about his early life. He was born in Pennsylvania and joined the Mormon Church in 1833. He lived in Missouri and told about the persecution of Mormons there. He later lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, and served on two missions at that time. He came to Utah in 1848 and later settled in Utah Valley, Utah. Curtis was involved in numerous activities including defending Utah from the Utah Expedition in 1858.

Dalton family diaries

Scope and Contents The collection includes copies of the diaries of Charles Dalton (1810-1891) and John Luther Dalton (1843- ). Charles was an early convert to the Mormon Church, lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, and was an early pioneer to Utah. His diary is a fifteen-page typescript covering the years 1855 to 1858 during which he served a Mormon Church mission to the Indians of Idaho. He describes some contact with the Bannock and Nez Perce Indians, but most of the entries are short and relate to the repairs...

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Charlotte Rudland was born in England 1829. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to the United States in 1862. While on the way to Utah, she died in child birth at Pacific Springs, Wyoming, on 21 September 1862.
