Photocopy of a typewritten biography. Hans Christian Hansen was born in Denmark in 1848. He later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah. He settled in the Pine Canyon farming area near Tooele, Utah, and died in 1924.

Holographs, two printed items and one typescript. The collection includes 28 letters written by or to members of the Isgreen family, 15 of which are written by or to Emil Isgreen. The correspondence is generally family news with a few business letters, two missionary letters from Wales and a description of Mattie Isgreen's travel in Hawaii. Also included are an invitation to a ball, 1896, the Democratic ticket for Provo, Utah, ca. 1900, and a thought on prayer.

Handwritten and signed letter, dated 3 Feb. 1873, and addressed to David McKenzie. The item was written from the "Assessor and Collector's Office Tooele City." Lee writes to David McKenzie for taxes on the "Richvile Mill" owned by Brigham Young, second president of the Mormon Church.

Peter McIntyre autobiography

Scope and Contents Typewritten copy of an autobiography. McIntyre served in the British Army in Spain and France during the Napoleonic Wars. He was also sent to the United States to fight Americans in 1815. After the war, he returned to Scotland. He later heard Mormon missionaries preach and was converted to their faith around the year 1841. He served as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Great Britain, migrated to Utah in 1853, and settled in Tooele, Utah in 1853. The record was completed by one of...

Ernest Waldemar Alpers Mohr diary and memoirs

Photocopies of a handwritten diary and a handwritten autobiography. The diary is in Danish and was written from 1874 to 1875 when Mohr was serving on a mission in Denmark for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also included is an autobiography written in English. Mohr writes about his early life in Denmark, his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his life in Tooele, Utah; St. Johns, Arizona; and Logan, Utah.

Handwritten poems, minutes of a meeting of the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a biography of Zina D. H. Young, a wife of the second president of the Church, Brigham Young. The poems were written at the death of Brigham Young in 1877. The Relief Society minutes relate to a meeting held in the 64th District school house on 7 Nov. 1893 in an unknown location.

Rippingille tells Brown how long it would take him to travel by car from San Francisco, California, to Ely,Nevada. He also tells Brown how long it would take for him to drive to and from towns and places near Tooele and Salt Lake City, Utah.
