Beverly Rasband Dixon papers, 2000-2002, 1944-1945
Materials contain a couple short pages about Beverly Rasband Dixon's service as a nurse in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps during World War II. Also included are several pages about Dixon's grandmother, Janett McMullin, illustrating how, through letters and poetry, supported 13 grandchildren as they served during World War II. Some of the poems and writings are included. McMullin is said to have corresponded with over 100 servicemen and women during the war. Dated 1944-1945, 2000-2002.

Material contains photos and timeline relating to the service of Bill Vandever in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the 5th Marine division and HCO-26 regiment. Includes is a 35 day timeline of the battle of Iwo Jima of which Vandever was a part. Also includes photocopied photographs of Japanese sailors and an optical disk. Materials contain papers relating to Blaine H. Johnson's service in U.S. Army's 640th Tank Destroyer Battalion during World War II. Tells how Johnson and his three brothers served in all theaters of the war. Includes photographs of the four brothers in uniform, and another of Blaine Johnson with J. Frank Dalley. Also contains Johnson's account of his war experiences. Describes invasion of Philippines and logistics of moving tanks, and the taking of Luzon city. Dated before 2001.
