Scope and Contents
Materials contain papers relating to Blaine H. Johnson's service in U.S. Army's 640th Tank Destroyer Battalion during World War II. Tells how Johnson and his three brothers served in all theaters of the war. Includes photographs of the four brothers in uniform, and another of Blaine Johnson with J. Frank Dalley. Also contains Johnson's account of his war experiences. Describes invasion of Philippines and logistics of moving tanks, and the taking of Luzon city. Dated before 2001.
