Albert Winkler interview with J. Murray Rawson
Typescript of an interview taken from the included cassette tape. Albert Winkler interviewed Rawson on 14 Oct. 1999 at his home in Orem, Utah, for the office of Special Collections at Brigham Young University. Rawson tells about his experiences during the battle of Iwo Jima. He says that his faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was essential to his survival.

Detailed handwritten account of his activities during the campaigns against the Cheyenne, Sioux, and Nez Perce tribes during the 1870s. His unit was the first on the scene of Custer's massacre on the Little Bighorn (1876), and he describes the battlefield in great depth, and also provides personal speculations on the specifics of the fight.
R. Calvin Withers collection of World War II Japanese items
Collection contains materials found on the island of Corregidor during mop up operations following World War II. Materials included are two postcards, a headband, and a Japanese book of law.
S. A. Wixom letter
The folder contains a handwritten letter dated 25 August 1883 and addressed to "Prest. McAllister & Brethren." Wixom describes the murder of a police officer in Salt Lake City, "Capt. Bent," by a "mulatto," who had refused to pay a restaurant bill, and the subsequent lynching of the man by a mob.
Walter M. Wolfe diary and congressional testimony
Collection contains transcriptions pertaining to the life of Walter M. Wolfe. Material includes a transcription of his diary about life in Mexico as a missionary and explorer dated 1900 to 1901. It also includes copies of the congressional transcript of Wolfe's testimony from the Reed Smoot United States Senate hearing in 1906. Dated 1900-1906.
