Contains correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, plaques, printed ephemera photographs, and other material created by Elaine Cannon and other members of the Cannon family. The materials document Cannon's church service, writing, and family life. Includes audio and video recordings. Also includes materials created by D. James Cannon, mainly related to his personal life and church service. Materials date from between 1832 and 2003.

Copy of handwritten autobiography, from the Bancroft collection, of Eliza R. Snow written in 1885. Along with her story, Snow included poems and song lyrics she wrote. The 49 pages are glued to acid free paper. Materials are dated 1885.

Content Description

Contains a round wooden box that belonged to Eliza R. Snow. It was donated to the BYU President's Office in 1973 by H. R. Wilson of Santa Rosa, California. According to description by donor, the box belonged to Eliza R. Snow and was used when going to Utah in early 1846-1847. The box includes a wooden spoon that supposedly came with the box.

Scope and Contents Collection consists of Helen Candland Stark's personal papers, especially journals, biographical materials, correspondence and photographs. Other files include materials related to women's issues in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, material related to a history she wrote of the Church in Delaware and historical material related to an attempt to conserve Salem Pond in Utah County.
