Helen Candland Stark papers
Scope and Contents
Collection consists of Helen Candland Stark's personal papers, especially journals, biographical materials, correspondence and photographs. Other files include materials related to women's issues in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, material related to a history she wrote of the Church in Delaware and historical material related to an attempt to conserve Salem Pond in Utah County. Also includes Stark's published poetry, articles, and essays and drafts of many of these works, as well as notes for various speeches and lectures she gave over the years. Stark also collected histories, poetry and correspondence from friends and neighbors. Includes many Quaker publications and various other papers and correspondence with members of the Quaker faith. Dated approximately 1920-1991.
