Handwritten and signed order in Spanish. The item is an order to the treasury officials of Zacatecas to deduct from the presidios of El Paso, Cuencame, Sonora, and Casas Grandes the salaries of ten men each, as a contribution to the defense of the frontier. The order was signed at Mexico on January 4, 1717.
