Scope and Contents Two photocopies of original handwritten letters written by Daniel H. Wells. Typed transcripts of both letters are also included. The first letter was written on September 26, 1848, from Salt Lake City by Daniel Wells to "dear brother." He discusses sending his two yoke of oxen to a camp in addition to assistance from others. The second letter was written on April 26th, 1852, and is titled "Special Order No. 1" and is signed by Lieutenant General D. H. Wells, James Ferguson, Adjutant General....

Collection contains photographs of a scrapbook about Edison Willey's experiences in World War I (the Great War), as collected by his mother, Byrnina Ann Dustin Willey. Includes the unit photograph before they left Ft. Lewis, Washington, heading to France. Dated approximately 1918-1920.

The collection also contains a CD of the photographs of the scrapbook.

Handwritten and signed order in Spanish. The item is an order to the treasury officials of Zacatecas to deduct from the presidios of El Paso, Cuencame, Sonora, and Casas Grandes the salaries of ten men each, as a contribution to the defense of the frontier. The order was signed at Mexico on January 4, 1717.
