Scope and Contents This collection contains six postcards with images of Twin Falls, Shosone Falls, Provo Canyon and Spanish Fork Canyon dating from the early 1900s. Three are known to have been taken by Philander F. Perry. There is also a small 1" x 7/8" photograph of a young woman mounted on matboard. Collection includes historic photographs collected by the City of Provo, Utah, with images of the city. Photographs include gelatin and collodion prints. Includes photographs of prominent buildings, businesses, local scenery, and notable individuals. Many of the photographs have corresponding nitrate or acetate negatives. Also includes a lantern slide. Dated approximately 1870-1929.

Abstract

Includes six folders containing printed copies of scans made of each album page and discs containing the original scans. The discs inlcude photos selected for their significance by a Provo historian. Most of these selected photos have a corresponding caption that is included in an inventory that is also included with the discs.
