Letter from Lalnde in Paris to Mme. Dupiery on June 8, 1793. This letter from Lalande describes both events in Chemistry and the Revolution. Back at the Paris Observatory he is able to meet Cassini, cartographer and director of the Observatory, who is both amusing and a pleasure. In addition Lalande writes about the victory of Morat in the dealing out of the estate of Luis IVX to the French public.

While in Bourge-en Bresse, he can hear the bombardments in Lyon. The observaotry is in the process of recieving the acquisistion of moril.
