Scope and Contents

Letter written from Lanlande to Mme. Dupiery on June 19, 1794. Lalande begins with titling the letter the "Decade of the Solstice". He projects another trip to Paris. The last decade has 1200 images of brutality, yet is nothing to the 21,000 images from the "Festival of the Supreme Being" on June 8, 1794. He writes about sacrificing his honor and is detained in his apartment by military force. He also writes about 61 conspirators who were excuted during the revolution. He asks to meet with Mme. Dupiery.
