Letter from Lalnde in Paris to Mme. Dupiery on June 8, 1793. This letter from Lalande describes both events in Chemistry and the Revolution. Back at the Paris Observatory he is able to meet Cassini, cartographer and director of the Observatory, who is both amusing and a pleasure. In addition Lalande writes about the victory of Morat in the dealing out of the estate of Luis IVX to the French public.

Letter from Lalande in Bourg-en-Bresse to Mme. Dupiery in Paris on September 25, 1793. Lalande is back in Bourg-en-Bresse in Eastern France with the commission to build a new observatory in the town. While in Bourge-en Bresse, he can hear the bombardments in Lyon. The observaotry is in the process of recieving the acquisistion of moril.

The last decade has 1200 images of brutality, yet is nothing to the 21,000 images from the "Festival of the Supreme Being" on June 8, 1794.
