Richard Benson papers, 1842-1965

This series includes the personal papers of Richard Benson (1816-1895), such as his missionary journal and patriarchal blessing, mission letters, a journal from 1868, letters written to him over the course of his life, his business journal, his business papers, and a map of the railways of Great Britain and Ireland. All included papers and maps date between 1842 and 1965.

George H. Robinson journals

Scope and Contents Twenty journals written by George Henry Robinson dated 1895 to 1947. Includes his journals kept while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Great Britain from 1895 to 1898 and the Eastern States Mission from 1903 to 1905. Robinson notes the weather and his location at the beginning of every entry. Entries outside of his time serving missions are mostly in Laketown, Utah, in which he usually makes entries on Sundays, discussing church meetings, ordinances...

Walter Alma Sells journals

Transcription of the Mormon missionary journals of Walter A. Sells, June 1908-August 1910, while he was serving in the British Mission. The transcription includes some biographical information, a selection of scanned copies from the original journals, and some photographs of Walter and family. About 200 pages. Also contains a photocopy of Alma's Missionary Record Book, which contains statistics about tracts distributed, gospel conversations held, baptisms performed, and so forth.

Collection contains the mission diaries of John and Mahonri M. Steele. Included in the diaries of John are day to day descriptions of his time serving as a Mormon missionary, and serving in the Mormon Battalion. He also gives some family history and autobiographical information about his life prior to the journal. The journals written by Mahonri M. Steele tell about his time as a Mormon missionary to England and Scotland.
