Kane family photographs, approximately 1840-1900
Contains photographs and related materials of the Kane family that were not found in the three-volume family photograph album. These include a steel printing plate of a portrait of Thomas L. Kane in his Civil War uniform, five prints made from that plate, a photograph of George Q. Cannon, and two photographs of unknown people. Materials are largely undated and unlabeled, but presumably date from the mid 19th century to early 20th century.

Contains photographs found in the pages of Kane's written history of the settlement of the town of Kane, Pennsylvania. Subjects include Kane family members, the Kane family home, landscapes, and buildings around the town of Kane. Hand-written, fictional dialogue in response to the accusations and questions commonly put to Mormons about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Characters listed at the beginning of the document include The World; The Latter-day Saints; The Gospel; The Primitive Church of Jesus Christ; The Apostacy; The Protestant Revolution; and Joseph Smith. Item dates from 1924.
Newel Kimball Whitney collection of revelations, 1829-1847
Contains early manuscript copies of more than twenty revelations, all but two of which have since been published in the Doctrine and Covenants. Seven of these these are addressed to Whitney, either mentioning him in a priesthood role or giving him instructions. Materials date from between 1829 and 1847.
