Gordon L. Weggeland (1902-1988) was a Mormon stockbroker, insurance executive, politician, and government administrator in Utah and Hawaii.

Gordon LeRoy Weggeland was born on July 15, 1902 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry Weggeland and Nina May Tolhurst. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was baptized in 1910 and served a mission for the Church in Scotland and England between 1922 and 1924. He married Mary Smith Murdoch in the Salt Lake Temple on May 4, 1927, and they had three children. Weggeland established himself as a stockbroker in Salt Lake, forming his own brokerage in 1934. He was also active in politics, and was elected as a Democrat to the Utah House of Representatives in 1936. He was then appointed to the state Senate, and was re-elected in 1938 and 1940. During this time he led the Appropriations Committee, and was co-chairman of the Utah delegation and committee to the 1939 New York World's Fair. In 1941 Weggeland resigned from the legislature to accept an appointment as Utah director of the Federal Housing Administration, where he served until 1951. After leaving government service he worked as an executive officer and director of insurance companies in Utah, Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Australia. He also remained active in his church and community, serving in the American Revolution Utah Bicentennial Foundation, the Utah Bicentennial Commission, the Utah Endowment for the Humanities board, and on various Church high councils. Weggeland died on August 31, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
