Handwritten diaries. Belliston writes about his activities as a missionary and as a temple president for the Mormon church in Hawaii. He also tells about his life in Nephi, Utah. Also included are 59 photographs of members and missionaries in Hawaii (ca. 1900), as well as places in Utah and Idaho (ca. 1890).

Diary details Cluff's study at the University of Michigan beginning December 14, 1886, and other events and reminiscences up until the eve of his departure on the South American Expedition in June, 1900.
