Benjamin Cluff diary, 1904 January-August
Scope and Contents
Diary covers period from January 1 to August 21, 1904 and details Cluff's time in Mexico following his resignation as president of BYU. Cluff accepted a position as superintendent of the Utah-Mexican rubber company properties. Includes his description of his preparation, travels, and work, in addition to family affairs and health. Details his difficulties of finding reliable and honest workers in addition to organization and maintenance of the plantation and the working force.
