Benjamin Cluff diary, 1881-1886
Scope and Contents
Diary covers period from January 1, 1881 to November 28, 1886, and details Cluff's Hawaiian mission in addition to his first marriage to a daughter of David John. Also covers his work as the Utah Stake Mutual Improvement Association President and his school work during the early years at the Brigham Young Academy.
In addition, contains two original letters Cluff placed into this diary, the first is dated April 8, 1890 and is from J. M. Tanner, and the second is dated April 9, 1890 and is from David John.
