Clawson Y. Cannon papers from Lebanon, 1950-1956
Contains correspondence, papers, and notes that were created during the time that Clawson Y. Cannon resided and worked in Beirut, Lebanon, for the United States government. They date between January 29, 1950, and November 21, 1956. The materials come from several sources, including his various applications that he needed to enter Lebanon and life insurance payments. Some items of interest include correspondence with Ezra Taft Benson, David O. McKay, and Ernest Wilkinson.

Also contains Sweson's answers to the Latter-day Saint Military Survey and a certificate indicating Swenson's receipt of the Valley Forge Teachers Medal. Materials dated approximately 1968-2000.

Materials contain papers detailing Clifford Olsen's service in the U.S. Naval Air Corps during World War II. Contains a military history written by Olsen, in which he describes working as a machinist at Hill Field, joining the Navy, training in California, Nevada, and Texas, and serving as a flight instructor in Georgia. Contains a copy of Olsen's separation certificate and copied photographs of Olsen during the war. Dated approximately 1945-2001.
