Materials contain papers of Clifford J. Lawrence regarding his service as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to 1978 during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Contains a book about the 345th Bomb Group / 5th Air Force consisting of excerpts from Lawrence's military history. Also contains a military history of Lawrence that discusses flying school and his service in New Guinea, the Philippines, Biak, Korea, Japan, and the United States. Includes quotes from some of his diary entries in 1945. Includes copied photographs and drawings of aircraft, histories of his bomb group, copied photographs of Lawrence and others, copied photographs of scenery and destruction from World War II, photocopied letters, U.S. Air Force statistics, photocopies of World War II stamps, coupons, signs, and buttons, photocopied military certificates and letters, comics, and maps.
