Contains one biography, written by Dorothy Brewerton, Carolyn Gorwill, and Leonard Reed in 2011, about Hannah Tapfield King. The biography contains transcriptions of her journals, her writings, and some of her autobiographical sketches. The biography describes her life in England and her journey to Utah as a pioneer. There is also some information about her ancestors, as written by Hannah Tapfield King.

Don C. Conley oral histories for The Pioneer Chinese of Utah

Scope and Contents

Collection includes twelve sound reels containing interviews of either descendants of early settlers in the Utah Territory, such as Wallace Clay, or Utah historians, like Juanita Brooks. The interviews are oral histories that were used as part of Conley's master's thesis, published in 1976. Each reel includes one person's story, with the exception of reel number nine, which contains two interviews. Dated 1974-1975.

Emmeline B. Wells diary typescripts

Includes two linear feet of unedited typed transcripts including the years 1844-1846 and 1874-1920. Her entries are daily, tell of her activities, and often present her opinions and impressions as well. The accounts are often lengthy and detailed. The 1882 diary also includes entries by Well's daughter, Louisa.
