Scope and Contents Mormon hymn books, musical scores, newspaper clippings, a short autobiography, a biography, and letters. Also included is a photostat copy of a handwritten list of passangers on the William Tapscott in 1859. The Mormons on the ship later formed the George Rowley handcart company which emigrated to Utah in 1859. Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. This copy is very dark and difficult to read. Margaret Cunningham Binnall was born in 1845 in Scotland. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1856 with the ill-fated Willie handcart company. She settled in American Fork, Utah, and died in 1921.

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Mary Stoddard was born in England in 1845 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1852. She migrated to Utah in 1856 with the Edward Ellsworth handcart company. She settled in American Fork, Utah, and married Stephen Mott in 1862. She died in 1916.

They tried to migrate to Utah by handcart in 1857 but could not make the entire journey. They stayed near Council Bluffs, Iowa, for four years and came to Utah in 1861. She fixed meals for the second president of the Mormon Church, Brigham Young, and later settled in American Fork. She married Jos. Adams and died in...

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. George Rowley was born in 1827 in England and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1847. Ann Brown was born in 1828 in England and joined the same church in 1844. He came to Utah in 1855 but returned to England in 1857, going east with a handcart company. He returned to Utah in 1859 with his family and settled in American Fork. Ann died in 1905, and George died in 1908.

She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1856 in Dan McArthur's handcart company. She married James Boyonton Shelley in 1856 and lived in American Fork, Utah. She wrote poetry and died in 1884.
