Biography of Elizabeth Williams Grant
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. This item was "narrated by her daughter, Mary Grant Marshall written by camp historian Laura Logie Timpson." Elizabeth Williams was born in Wales in 1838. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1856 with the Bunker handcart company. Elizabeth married David Grant in 1856 and became his fourth wife. She had eight children and lived in American Fork, Utah. She later married Alex McFarland and died in 1919.
