Biography of Mary Bathgate Shelley
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Mary Bathgate was born in 1798 in Scotland. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1856 in Dan McArthur's handcart company. She married James Boyonton Shelley in 1856 and lived in American Fork, Utah. She wrote poetry and died in 1884.
