Jim Barnes papers
The collection primarily tracks Barnes's poetic career, specifically regarding his service as editor of the Chariton Review and contributions to other poetry journals, and contains manuscripts of his own poetry as well as that of Dagmar Nick, which he translated from German, and numerous books of poetry written by friends/contributors to the Chariton Review. It also contains personal documents such as correspondence, bills, and photos.

Contains the personal and professional papers from Arthur Henry King. Includes papers on Shakespeare, linguistics, King's papers as a professor, his work with the British Council, diaries, written works, papers on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ranges of numbered research notes on index cards, and other personal papers. Dates range from approximately 1900 to 2000.

Charles Haines Manley autobiography and account books
Handwritten autobiography, one volume of poetry, three volumes of account books, and two items relating to Manley family genealogy. Manley lived several places in New York State. He delivered newspapers during the American Civil War, saw the funeral train carrying the body of Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865), and discussed the murder of "Wild Bill" Hickock. When Manley's father died the elderly man warned him "against the evils that have been his downfall--wine, women, and gambling."
Monroe J. and Shirley Brockbank Paxman papers
Contains materials on five prominent authors or illustrators that Monroe Paxman and Shirley Brockbank Paxman were acquainted with, including personal and professional materials. Also includes family history material of the extended Paxman and Brockbank families, and personal and professional papers of Monroe J. Paxman, including their involvement with the preservation of Academy Square. Dated from 1900 to 2013.
